Paying for Any Course
Parents often spend a lot of time comparing colleges, fees and facilities.
But there is one question that many parents forget to ask.
“What career opportunities will my child get after completing this course?”
In my experience, this is one of the most important questions in career planning.
Every year, I meet students who have completed expensive courses but still feel uncertain about their future. They have certificates, but they are not sure how those certificates will help them get a job.
A few months ago, a parent visited ITAP with his daughter. He asked about the Professional Business Accountant (PBA) Course.
Instead of discussing only fees, he asked a different question:
“What practical skills will my daughter learn?”
I felt that was exactly the right approach.
Today, employers are looking for candidates who understand Accounting, GST, Income Tax, TDS, Payroll and business software.
When students learn these skills, they become more employable.
That is why many parents are exploring practical professional courses after B.Com rather than focusing only on additional degrees.
Before selecting any course, ask:
• What skills will be taught?
• What career opportunities will be available?
• Will the student receive practical exposure?
• Does the course improve employability?
The answers to these questions are often more important than the course title itself.
At ITAP Pune, the Professional Business Accountant (PBA) Course is designed with employability in mind because the ultimate goal of education should be a successful career.
