A common thought among commerce students is:
“First let me complete B.Com. After that, I will think about my career.”
It sounds logical.
But is waiting for three years really necessary?
Imagine two students who start B.Com together.
The first student concentrates only on college. After graduation, he starts looking for practical courses, develops job skills and then searches for his first job.
The second student takes a different approach.
Along with graduation, she starts learning practical Accounting, GST, Income Tax, TDS, Payroll, Excel and accounting software. She also starts gaining actual work experience.
Three years later, both have a B.Com degree.
But their CVs can look very different.
One says:
B.Com Fresher.
The other can say:
B.Com + Professional Skills + Work Experience.
That is a significant head start.
